I have a substantial discount (30%) from Fitbit to use on one item, but it expires in the next 20 days. No matter what device I get, I plan on getting a protection plan for it. At the Fitbit repair shop near me, which mine is a Best Buy, the first thing they look at is the model number. You need to charge the Apple Watch nearly every day, while the Sense can. I have a recent Samsung phone, and I like it. The Fitbit Sense benefits from an excellent 6-day battery life, far outlasting the Apple Watch 7’s 18 hours. I also will emphasize 3 important/relevant things here before ending the post: I'm not familiar with the fitness side of Galaxy Watches, but what I'm basically looking for is something that can more or less do what the Charge5 or Sense line can (without Premium features), with some added bonuses that will integrate well with my phone (a Samsung phone). The former is a souped up fitness tracker, while the latter is the latest (and apparently most tricked out) among smart watches. companies like Samsung (Samsung Gear Fit), Garmin (Vivosmart and Vivofit). Obviously, the Charge5 and the Galaxy Watch4 are different beasts. and, even more recently, smartwatches (Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Versa, Fitbit. HOWEVER, I am still hesitant with this decision and would like all of y'all's input. and given it's lower price point, I'm considering that as an alternative to Sense. Now that Fitbit has released this new version, I feel like it's MUCH closer to the Sense (at least in fitness capabilities) than the Charge4. There are a number of things I was looking for in a wearable product that the Charge5 has (color face, sleek design) that the Charge4 did not have, which is why I did not consider it. only to get the news, like so many of you, that Fitbit will be releasing the Charge5 this Fall.Īs many of you already know, the Charge5 is touted as this massively revamped version of the Charge, making it much more attractive than its predecessor. I posted last week about my dilemma (Samsung Galaxy Watch4 vs Fitbit Sense, read my post here here's the link to it).
